Meet the Herrings
Our Faith Build Partner Family

Courtney Herring and her two daughters have been selected as our 2011 Faith Build partner family. Courtney, who is a single mother, works full time as a grocer. Though the Herrings currently live in decent housing, their neighborhood experiences gang activity including a fatal gang-related shooting in 2010. Besides concern for the safety of her daughters, Courtney is also concerned that their school is not meeting state standards. Courtney is excited to be partnering with Habitat for Humanity and eager to put her hard earned dollars into a home of her own.


Construction on this home will begin in September 2011.
